Mayor Leahy and Engineer Hoffman pressed for additional traffic and environmental studies before the application advances. Hoffman emphasized the need to include a possible connection to Greening Place in environmental impact work and flagged egress concerns from the two cul‑de‑sacs and options using Heard Avenue or the Rakov parcel. Fuller said the team will walk the property to verify features including a potential well site and will prepare studies before a formal Planning Board submission.
The board provided initial feedback but did not take a formal vote on annexation or rezoning at the meeting. Next steps outlined on the record were a site walk, completion of scope and environmental studies, and a redesign to present a cohesive plan to the Planning Board.
