An update from Farnsworth indicated the village has initiated the Lead Service Line Inventory grant process and requested its first distribution. Andy Hanfland told trustees the program provides an initial $15,000 distribution and a second $15,000 that will be reimbursed after the village submits qualifying receipts.
"Andy Hanfland said that the 1st distribution has been requested and it usually takes 2-3 months to get the $15,000. The 2nd $15,000 will be reimbursed to us after submitting the receipts for expenditures," the minutes state. Trustees will monitor reimbursements and ensure eligible expenses are documented for the second payment.
