The Village of Cerro Gordo Board of Trustees approved several customer water-bill adjustments during its March 16 meeting, moving to reduce individual accounts where leaks or billing errors were documented.
Trustee Keirl moved to approve an adjustment for Tim St. Pierre that reduced the account from $1,559.05 to $783.37 (a $775.68 adjustment); the motion was seconded and passed by roll call. Similar motions approved an adjustment of $1,803.69 for Marianne Mourning and $210.23 for Julie Malone. A separate motion approved a $120.64 adjustment for Ronald Price. "MOTION to approve the water adjustment of $775.68 for Tim St. Pierre was made by Trustee Keirl, seconded by Trustee Walsh," the minutes record.
A $160.20 adjustment for Nathan Walsh passed with Trustee Walsh recorded as abstaining. The board tabled the adjustment for Patrick Berdan because the leak had not been fixed and trustees requested confirmation of repair before taking action. The individual motions were taken by roll call with most recorded as five ayes and one absent (Trustee Anderson).
