Commission ratifies Super Com lease for probation ankle monitors

County attorneys and staff reviewed a proposed leasing agreement with Super Com to provide ankle-monitor tracking for the probation program. Staff said the Super Com agreement is significantly lower in cost than the previous provider; Deputy Attorney Grant Charles reported no legal issues with the proposed contract.
Commissioner Tracy Killian moved to ratify the leasing agreement and authorize the Sheriff to sign on behalf of the county. Commissioners Killian, Chugg and Miles all voted aye and the motion passed. The county will proceed to finalize the lessor arrangements and implement the new monitoring service as authorized.
