Board approves consent agenda, including purchase of two activity buses

The consent agenda—moved by Mrs. Harvey and seconded by Mrs. Johnson—included approval of extra bills dated Aug. 21, 2024; minutes from Aug. 8 (regular) and Aug. 15 (special) meetings; resignations of certificated and non-certificated staff (A. Scott and C. McDonough); purchase of two activity buses from Midwest Transit Equipment; approval of the 2024–25 licensed staff handbook; the 2024–25 Joint PERA agreement; the annual teacher salary study report; and coaches/sponsors updates. The motion carried on a roll-call vote with all present voting aye.
The bus purchase and handbook adoption were recorded as part of the consent items; the board did not pull any items for separate discussion in the minutes.
