Board approves Crawfish Shack signage and authorizes attendance at MML conference

Community Development Director Joel Sims asked the board to approve signage for Crawfish Shack located at 2873 Highway 49 South; Alderman Brent Sistrunk moved and Alderman Kyle Martin seconded to approve the submitted sign by Rainbow Signs. The motion was recorded as unanimous.
Separately, the board approved sending the mayor, board members, city clerk and city attorney to the Mississippi Municipal League (MML) Summer Conference June 27–July 2, 2026, with the city to pay registration ($350) and related allowable costs. The motion was made by Alderman John Banks and seconded by Alderman Mason Herrin and carried unanimously.
