The Mayor and Board approved several procurement items for city operations March 3. Water/Sewer Operator Billy Russell secured board approval for an additional $1,510.00 on invoice #MS00416159 payable to Consolidated Pipe & Supply Co.; the motion carried unanimously. The board also approved Puckett Rental's quote of $6,834.24 for a hydraulic plate compactor, identified as the lowest of two quotes (the other quote was $10,856.00 from Rhinox Xtreme Performance).
Park Director Mark Hester recommended payment of $6,350.92 to K & K Insurance for the 2026 sports liability policy and purchase of a Demo Scag Turf Tiger 61VW 40 HP mower (serial Z3001862) from Robby's Small Engines under state contract for $14,899.99; both motions carried unanimously.
