Florence approves monument sign at Eagle Post Road
Summary
The board approved monument signage for Eagle Post Road at 131 Hwy. 469 North as submitted by Gator Signs; the motion passed unanimously. The City Engineer will prepare any needed review for future permits.
Community Development Director Joel Sims presented a proposal from Gator Signs to install monument signage at 131 Hwy. 469 North (Eagle Post Road) and recommended approval. Alderman Brent Sistrunk moved to approve the sign; Alderman Mason Herrin seconded, and the board carried the motion unanimously.
The approved signage will follow the submission as presented to Community Development. Separately, Joel Sims also requested that the City Engineer review a future variance request (see separate public hearing item). The signage approval was recorded in the Feb. 17, 2026 meeting minutes.
