Florence board approves claims docket and Nov. 18 minutes (one abstention); meeting adjourns

At the close of the Dec. 2 meeting, Alderman John Banks moved and Alderman Mason Herrin seconded approval of the claims docket; the motion carried by unanimous vote. The board then considered approval of the Nov. 18, 2025 minutes. Alderman Brent Sistrunk moved and Alderman Kyle Martin seconded approval; the minutes record Alderman John Banks voting "Abstain," while Aldermen Herrin, Martin and Sistrunk voted Aye. The motion to approve the minutes carried.
With no further business, Mayor Pro-Tem Grantham adjourned the meeting at 6:45 p.m. The minutes were attested by City Clerk Linda Wigley and bear the mayor's signature line noting Mayor Trey Gunn was absent from the meeting.
