Kelly described concrete, asphalt and curb repairs to improve parking‑lot safety and recommended a potential 6,500‑square‑foot addition near the old Lakeview entrance to provide instructional space. The presentation stated the potential addition would cost about $6 million and that financing for district facility work through the 2025–2028 planning period was secured in 2024, meaning the district would not need additional financing for the project as presented. The board said it would consider the addition and related plans over the coming months before making a decision.
Board members asked questions about timing and program space; no formal decision was made at the July 9 meeting.
