District staff told the board the agreement is intended "to preserve attorney‑client privilege, the work product doctrine, and the common interest doctrine, and to set forth procedures and restrictions governing the exchange and handling of information shared." Board members voted 6–0 to approve the agreement with one member absent.
Board member Adam Sage moved for approval and Megan DuPass seconded the motion. The agreement formalizes how the district will share privileged information with allied counsel or parties while the matter is pending, according to the presentation to the board.
