Students spotlighted: Elizabeth Ide Garden Club, music concerts and district awards

At the May 6 meeting students from Mrs. Tran's Elizabeth Ide class and Mrs. Miller's classroom presented school projects and led an audience activity. Mrs. Tran's class showcased the Elizabeth Ide Garden Club and the board and superintendent praised named students for their engagement.
Elizabeth Ide reported Kindness Week activities that raised 2,999 pounds of donations for the West Suburban Community Pantry. Dr. Wise also recognized "Those Who Excel" building and district winners and offered special congratulations to Jen Maass, who was named District Teacher of the Year. Several staff (Sean Rhoads, Maggie Kane, Katie Finucine, Meghan Aleo) were selected by ISBE to represent Center Cass at the state level.
