Board President Brian Liedtke presided as Dr. Wise presented the district's Amended FY26 Budget and reported that the district finished the year "with positive balances, and make much needed deposits into savings," while noting the district still does not have three months cash on hand. The board voted to place the amended budget on public display for 30 days.
The motion to place the budget on public display was made by Doug Wiley and seconded by Steve Dlugo; the motion passed with a recorded vote of Yea: 6, Nay: 0, Absent: 1. Dr. Wise told the board the improved balances allowed deposits to savings but emphasized work remains to reach recommended reserve targets. The board also thanked Business Office staff, including Carol Tedeschi, for their work on the budget.
