The board authorized exterior maintenance and repair projects at district buildings at its May 20 meeting. Bebar moved to approve the tuckpointing and exterior reseal projects bid by Seward Masonry; the motion carried on a roll-call vote.
Superintendent Weidner reported work already underway: track respray and repainting began May 18 and the elementary playground reseal started the week after school was released. The minutes also note masonry repairs and exterior resealing were put out for bid April 27 and that Top Quality Roofing repaired the high school gym roof earlier this season. Funding sources for the projects were not detailed in the minutes.
