The Town Board of Long Lake on Aug. 27 adopted Resolution 40 of 2025 to approve a new Procurement Policy and Procedures Manual covering procurement, credit card use and fixed asset management. The manual includes updated forms titled “Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order” and “Credit Card Sign-Out Log,” and rescinds the board's Update Non-Bid Procurement Policy adopted Feb. 29, 2014.
The motion to adopt the resolution was made by Councilman Richard B. Dechene and seconded by Councilman Nathan S. Hosley; the vote was unanimous. The adopted text directs the Town Clerk to attach a certified copy of the resolution to the policy and keep it in the town's official records. The manual is intended to standardize purchases, clarify credit-card sign-out procedures, and strengthen fixed-asset tracking going forward.
