Board approves audit engagement, names insurance broker, and OKs FFA trip and library FTE increase

Central CUSD 4 approved an audit engagement with SKDO CPAs + Advisors for FY26, recognized Educational Benefit Cooperative as broker of record for insurance renewals, approved the Illinois FFA State Convention overnight trip (June 9–11, 2026), and increased the library paraprofessional FTE to 1.5.
The board approved an audit engagement letter with SKDO CPAs + Advisors to conduct the FY26 audit; Member Shule moved the engagement and Member B. Koch seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The board also approved Resolution 2026-5 recognizing the Educational Benefit Cooperative as broker of record for insurance renewals.
In other administrative business the board approved an overnight trip to the Illinois FFA State Convention in Springfield from Tuesday, June 9 to Thursday, June 11, 2026. The board also approved increasing the CCLD library paraprofessional FTE from 1.0 to 1.5. These items were approved without dissent as part of new business.
