Board votes to seek building permit for asbestos abatement, approves HLS amendment for security cameras

Separately, the board approved submitting a Health Life Safety (HLS) amendment to fund purchase and installation of upgraded security cameras district-wide. Member Shule-Whybrew moved the HLS amendment and Member B. Koch seconded; the motion passed without dissent. The Finance Committee had noted discussion of security camera upgrades during its April 21 meeting.
