Principal Neaveill told the board that IAR testing is underway, report cards were scheduled to go home March 13, dental exams are scheduled for the end of March and the PTO will bring a Star Lab to the elementary school. She also said the elementary achieved 100% student participation in the 5Essentials survey and that Rachel Allen attended the Illinois Reading Council conference.
Principal Willard reported that CGHS hosted the Macon County Band Festival, that history students will tour the state capital's legislative chambers, that 7th-grade volleyball won its regional championship and 8th-grade volleyball reached the regional championship, and that spring sports have begun. Dr. Weidner reported attendance at crisis-communication training, ROE safety meeting participation, ongoing ROE compliance audit work, and scheduled health insurance committee meetings with Loman Ray Insurance on March 23 and Egyptian Trust on March 30.
