The Cerro Gordo school board voted to approve an agreement with architecture/engineering firm BLDD for tuckpointing work at district facilities at its March 18 meeting.
Superintendent Dr. Weidner presented the Health Life Safety Survey results, noting a set of List A projects that must be completed by May 2026 and List B projects due by 2030. He also identified other facility needs, including potential bleacher replacement, a new press box and concession-stand replacement at the track. Board members discussed exploring the bleacher project in the fall with a potential construction window in summer 2027 but took no formal action beyond approving the BLDD tuckpointing agreement. Members voted by roll call with all present voting in favor of the BLDD agreement.
