Councilman Nathan S. Hosley, Town Attorney Carl Ferrentino, Confidential Secretary Matthew Newby and Supervisor Clay J. Arsenault interviewed two law firms to assist the town in creating the entity needed to receive the Hendrickson gift. The firms considered were Holland & Knight and Greenberg Traurig.
The minutes state that "Both firms have extensive experience in creating entities like the one the Town will need, both have presence in multiple states where the probate will likely be settled, and both have Albany connections through networking and lobbying efforts." The board did not select a firm during the July 30 meeting; the review was reported as part of the supervisor's report.
