The Town Board approved Resolution 2026.32 to apply for reimbursement grant funding of up to $600,000 from the Empire State Development Regional Council Capital Fund toward the Long Lake Tourism Infrastructure Enhancement Project, an approximately $3,000,000 capital plan to improve the town beach and related facilities.
The resolution delegates authority to the Supervisor to execute applications and necessary documentation and directs the Lake Champlain–Lake George Regional Planning Board to prepare the application. The board acknowledged that any town share, interim financing, or grant-match obligations must be separately budgeted and that ESD awards are reimbursement-based.
Motion and vote: Moved by Supervisor Clay J. Arsenault, seconded by Councilman Nathan S. Hosley; adopted 5–0.
