The Town Board approved Resolution 2026.31 to submit a grant application titled "Long Lake Recreational Facility Upgrades" to the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation seeking up to $675,000 in funding to improve the town beach at 1258 Main Street.
The board committed to providing the required 25 percent local match through a combination of in-kind municipal labor/equipment and cash contributions. The Lake Champlain–Lake George Regional Planning Board will prepare the application and assist with grant administration and project delivery. The supervisor was authorized to execute the application and any required contract documents if the grant is awarded.
Motion and vote: Motion to accept Resolution 31 was moved by Councilman Thomas L. Donnelly, seconded by Councilman Nathan S. Hosley and adopted 5–0.
