Northern Humboldt Union High board approves consent agenda, routine items and moves November date

The Northern Humboldt Union High School District Governing Board met Aug. 12 at McKinleyville High School Library and approved its consent agenda — including minutes from June meetings, warrants, personnel changes and the monthly financial activity report — on a roll-call motion recorded as carried, 5-0-0. The motion to approve the consent agenda was moved by Cedric Aaron Jr. and seconded by Natalie Giannini.
Trustees also approved several routine items later in the meeting, including a short-term personnel permit, the salvaging of a 1997 Ford Econoline van and the 2025 Second Quarter Williams Uniform Complaint Report. The board voted to move its November regular meeting to Nov. 18 because of the Veterans holiday. No public comments were recorded in the minutes for agenda items during the session.
