Shallowater ISD board approves consent agenda, personnel hires and JJAEP MOU

At its Aug. 18 meeting, the Shallowater ISD Board of Trustees approved a consent agenda that bundled routine items including minutes, bills and personnel matters.
Trustee Aaron Morris moved to approve the consent agenda; Trustee Alana Hayes seconded and the motion passed unanimously (7–0). The personnel actions approved included hiring Callie Noland as a high-school special education teacher and Allison Whitney as an elementary life-skills paraprofessional for the 2025–26 school year. The board also approved transfers for children of employees and the Lubbock JJAEP Memorandum of Understanding for the 2025–26 school year.
Trustees approved standalone personnel and staffing items recorded under agenda item 9805, and the consent vote incorporated an item noting that budget amendments would be handled as a separate agenda item (11A).
