Cherry Valley committee forwards background‑check invoice, training changes and wage increase for part‑time officers

Kramer also moved to forward a revision to the cost for Patrol Officer Fulton to attend the 2025 D.A.R.E. International Training Conference (now scheduled July 23–26, 2025): lodging $1,329.70 and meals $300.00 for a revised total of $2,079.70. The Committee approved a sale agreement for the Police Officer Hire‑Back Program at CherryVale Mall and approved increasing the hourly wage for part‑time patrol officers to $31.00; all motions carried by voice vote.
Chief Todd Stockburger presented an ordinance‑violation update and noted community outreach activities during Police Week.
