Engineer reports verbal IEPA approval expected for Well 7; street‑project punch list and 2025 contract updates

Adam Bunge of CES Inc. reported that the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) verbally told him the Well House construction permit should have been issued; the village will be required to retest for radium and gross alpha during final well water‑quality testing when applying for operating permits.
Bunge provided construction updates: epoxy flooring work, generator placement, coordination with Layne and Dan Foss on VFD cabinet testing and connection to the new well head, and discussion of north grading changes related to building access. For the CV 2024 Streets Improvements Project he said final pay requests await Rock Roads' confirmation of final quantities and punch‑list resolution; Rock Roads has been awarded the CV 2025 Streets Improvements Project and contracts have been submitted to the village for signature.
