Board of Assessors appoints Jim Rice as chair after Miner steps down

Acting board chair Jim Rice called the Laconia Board of Assessors to order at 3:01 p.m. on March 19, 2026. The board recorded the change that former chair Lenny Miner stepped down as a regular member and will serve as an alternate member.
Member Karen Mudgett moved to appoint Jim Rice as board chair; Dick Tracy seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. The minutes record that with all regular members present the board completed the appointment. The board also recorded that Dick Tracy moved from alternate to regular member.
The board's next regular meeting was set for April 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
