The Oconto County Public Safety Committee on Feb. 11 approved out-of-state travel requests submitted by the Sheriff's Office. Following an explanation from Sheriff Todd Skarban, Committee member Tracy Ondik moved to approve the requests; Al Schreiber seconded the motion and the committee voted to carry it.
The action was recorded in the meeting minutes as "motion by Ondik/Schreiber to approve the Sheriff's Office Out of State Travel Requests as presented. The motion was voted on and carried." No additional conditions or budget amendments were recorded in the minutes. The committee's next meeting is scheduled for March 11, 2026.
