The finance committee approved an engineering services contract with Stantec Consulting Services not to exceed $43,700 to support the pavement management and paving program.
Dan Hudson, city engineer, said Stantec has been assessing sections of the city since 2016 and that this year's work will cover roughly half of the city's road network to update the pavement condition index for those segments. "This year is to do about 0.5 the city, and update the the the pavement condition index for those roads in that 0.5 of the city," Hudson said, and offered to answer questions about the scope and scheduling.
