Engineers, contractor set timelines for Cherry Valley 2024 and 2025 street projects

Kevin Adam Bunge of C.E.S. reported that final quantities for the CV 2024 Streets Improvements Project have been submitted to Rock Roads and that final payment will hinge on agreement about quantities and the contractor’s confirmation of punchlist completion; he asked Rock Roads to overseed and fertilize areas where grass failed. For the CV 2025 Streets Improvements Project, Adam said a preconstruction meeting was held and that Rock Roads is scheduled to begin removals the week of June 2.
Bunge emphasized staging and public notice requirements, saying message boards on Mill Road are required because it is one of the busiest streets included in resurfacing plans. The engineering report will be placed on file with the permanent record.
