Auditor/Treasurer Carolyn Rempel reviewed proposed fees for cannabis retail and low potency hemp retail registrations and a fee for temporary events. Rempel stated the initial recommendation for a temporary event fee was $250 per event.
After discussion, the board approved a fee schedule: Cannabis Retail Registration Application — initial $500 and renewal $500; Low Potency Hemp Retail Registration Application — initial $125 and renewal $125; and a temporary event fee approved by the board at $500 per event. The minutes record both Rempel’s initial statement and the subsequent action: "Rempel stated the Cannabis Retail Registration Application would have an initial fee of $500 and a renewal fee of $500 and the Low Potency Hemp Retail Registration Application would have an initial fee of $125 and a renewal fee of $125. Rempel also stated that the fee for a temporary event would be $250 per event. After discussion, motion by Maras, second by Anderson, unanimous vote to approve the following fees for cannabis applications: Cannabis Retail Registration Application would have an initial fee of $500 and a renewal fee of $500, the Low Potency Hemp Retail Registration Application would have an initial fee of $125 and a renewal fee of $125, and the fee for a temporary event would be $500 per event."
