The administration offered a ballpark reseal/lines cost of roughly $14,000 for a "soup to nuts" service and said more detailed quotes would be provided.
After discussion about enforcement on Talent Road and the town's role (no‑parking signs fall to the district if placed on the town road adjacent to school property), the board voted to approve the CHS handbook as presented; the handbook still reflects the existing $100 fee, and the board directed administration to collect data on illegal parking patterns and timing of future maintenance to revisit the fee question if needed.
"I think it's twofold," the principal said of the proposal, explaining the balance between affordability and parking‑lot upkeep. The motion to approve the CHS handbook (which will keep the existing fee structure) carried 5–0.
