County updates housing pilot and reports rising hotel/motel placements amid outreach for reallocating unused funds

Trimble provided an update on the Housing Access Voucher Pilot Program: "The Housing Access Voucher Pilot Program has twenty-seven units that can be funded. They currently have six families that have been placed in permanent housing, one will be placed in June, four are pending inspections by the company managing the program, and six are waiting on paperwork from the landlord." She also said commissioners asked that any unspent funds from counties not utilizing allocations be considered for reallocation to counties actively using the funding.
Committee members did not vote on programmatic changes in this meeting but discussed coordination and potential reallocation as part of budget planning and cross-county resource use.
