Comal County Commissioners Court approved an amendment extending an irrevocable standby letter of credit (FTFC25004) for GateHouse Subdivision Unit 3 on Jan. 29, citing unfinished road and stormwater construction.
County staff recommended the one‑year extension because construction is still underway. Mr. Boyd told the court, "Construction is still underway," and the court approved the extension on a motion by Commissioner Webb with a second from Commissioner Crownover.
The extension preserves the county’s surety for public infrastructure until construction is completed and supports continued inspection and acceptance once the work meets county standards.
