Trustee William Dwyer moved to amend the recommendation; Trustee Lisa Burns seconded. After discussion, Trustee Joshua Bright moved to approve the motion as amended; the board voted unanimously in favor. The motion as amended removed line item 21 and approved the other listed positions.
District staff had presented the staffing needs as part of the personnel needs report; no additional fiscal totals tied to the approved line items were recorded in the minutes. The board did not adopt the Instructional Leadership position at this meeting; staff were directed to proceed with the approved lines for teachers, paraprofessionals and counseling roles.
