Scouts, wreath ceremony and holiday parades highlighted at Robertson County meeting

Faye Stofield described the Wreaths Across America event at Belwood Cemetery in Adams scheduled for Dec. 14 and invited families to participate or to contact the DAR for help locating graves that lack VA markers. Stofield said the DAR will help cover wreaths for veterans whose families do not provide them and encouraged public attendance to honor veterans.
Commissioners also listed several holiday parades and family events across the county (Greenbrier Elementary Nov. 30; Ridgetop Dec. 6; Springfield Dec. 7; airport Santa event Dec. 14, etc.) and reminded residents of times and meeting places. Chair urged public participation and noted the county calendar of events.
