Jeff Edson of Dorr Edson Road told the Milford Town Board that a traveling nurse renting his property "almost collided with the renter as she left the driveway" when a speeding motorist passed by. He asked the board to consider reducing the speed limit on the road.
Board members said they must consider enforcement and the town's cost for installing signage or changing speed limits and stated they would require a petition signed by all residents on Dorr Edson Road before the board would consider a formal speed-limit reduction request.
