Milford planning board member seeks land for youth sports, flags zoning changes

Planning Board Member Russell Langford told the Milford Town Board on March 19 that the town needs land for practices for Milford youth baseball and soccer teams and that the Planning Board has proposed changes and additions to the town's zoning ordinance and STTRs.
Langford asked the Town Board to clarify the respective roles of the Planning Board and Town Board in changing ordinances. Supervisor Casey Eckler asked that Planning Board Chairman Bruce Milavec and Vice Chairman Gary Wickham attend the April Town Board meeting and said he would send the proposals to Town Attorney E. Hyde Clark for legal review. The minutes record Langford's request for practice fields and his review of the ordinance proposals.
