Residents raise concerns about rentals, parking, dogs and pickleball access

Multiple residents used the public-comment period to raise neighborhood issues. Other public comments included Mike Mayfield’s request for a pickleball liaison, bathroom access and relaxed barricade rules for the court, and Mark Zello’s commendation of Building Inspector Bill Lambert for his responsiveness. Mark Brown warned that the government is pulling grants. Lynn and Joel Altschul closed the public-comment block by reiterating "extreme concern about the structure on the beach at 42," which had earlier been placed under State review.
Village officials did not announce new enforcement actions at the May 9 meeting but acknowledged several items are under active review by police or the village attorney and that follow-up could appear on future agendas.
