The City Council voted to approve a consulting services agreement with Blanchette Strategic, LLC under Resolution #2026-64 on June 3, 2026. Alderman Renee Smith moved the resolution and Alderman Vincent Zaranti seconded; the motion passed 7–0.
Mayor David Gonzalez explained that Craig Blanchette would "continue to provide services on a consulting basis for the completion of all water projects that were currently ongoing in the City.
