Peach Jam, July 4 fireworks and City Hall closure announced

At the June 22 meeting council and staff made several public announcements: Peach Jam will be held Friday, June 26 through Saturday, June 27; City Hall will be closed Friday, July 3 for the Independence Day observance; and the City of Clanton Fourth of July fireworks show will be held at Clanton City Park at 9:00 p.m. and will be free to the public.
During council and public comments, Robert Binion thanked the council for its support of the Juneteenth event and thanked the police for directing traffic during the celebration. The meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
