"requested approval of the bid award in the amount of $200,994.95 to Iroquois Paving, who met all bid requirements and was the lowest responsible bidder," Zerante said during the meeting. The resolution (2026-45) was moved by Alderman Wanda Rodgers and seconded by Alderman Kelli Merrick, and carried with six ayes; Alderman George Brassea was absent.
The award uses federal CDBG funds (CDBG #2506-004) for localized roadway improvements in the identified Parkside/Union area. No amendment or alternative bids were advanced during the discussion. The council recorded the approval as part of its regular consent actions for capital and maintenance projects.
