Dr. Leali and building principals outlined school-level steps: LBMS Principal Blackmer described using the SMART method for goal-setting, a schoolwide writing checklist and Flex periods for targeted student support, while LBES Principal Bae emphasized multi-year work on foundational math skills, fact fluency and consistent family communication through SeeSaw. To "sustain this momentum and the district’s PLC culture," the administration recommended hiring two additional staff and monitoring alignment with the state's updated Numeracy Plan.
