Mumper also reported the new 750 m pump has been installed in the pump house as part of the first grant’s work. He said the second water grant had to be resubmitted after Congress placed a temporary pause on grant disbursements; Mumper added he hopes to have a water contract with Grand Beach ready by the April meeting. “Tim McCarthy made a motion to approve Orbis Environmental Consulting for $2,105,” the minutes record.
Council members asked for continued coordination with Merritt Engineering on the project plan and required studies. No implementation dates beyond contractor selection and pump installation were recorded at the meeting.
