Jody Hyatt provided a Curriculum and Instruction report noting there are 38 students with IEP or 504 plans and that testing results are expected soon. She reported a Gore Mt. grant of $1,000 and described programming including Crazy 8’s (with volunteer student helpers), SEL supports such as reset rug kits and the Brave Lion program, Prevention Team communications to parents, and planned field trips (K–6 Opera in Newcomb, Up Yonda Farm, and a wildlife program in Ms. Riley’s 9–12 class).
The report also reiterated that COVID funds have been spent and highlighted curriculum updates for grades 5–8. Staff did not request board action on these items; the update was informational.
