Curriculum report highlights iReady results, interventions and BOCES literacy work
Summary
The board received a Curriculum and Instruction report outlining iReady math and ELA results, intervention plans, annual evaluations, audits on items 13 and 14, and BOCES-supported K–6 ELA and 7–12 literacy modification work.
Mrs. Zappala-Piemme presented the Curriculum and Instruction report, summarizing iReady assessment results in math and ELA and the district’s intervention plan to address areas of need. She noted annual evaluations and re-evaluations, the state performance plan, parent questionnaires and audits on items 13 and 14.
The report also described collaboration with BOCES on K–6 ELA curriculum and modifications to 7–12 literacy, child study team activity and recent professional development; Mrs. Zappala-Piemme thanked staff who worked on the Superintendent’s staff day.
