Laraway teachers, students honored with Blue Streak Awards

The Laraway CCSD 70-C Board of Education recognized teachers and students with Blue Streak Awards during its Oct. 8 meeting.
Teachers Ms. Terese Sullivan and Mrs. Meaghan Polensky were acknowledged "for having students get the most math problems solved during the month of June 2024." Student awards were announced as 1st place Alejandra Guiterrez (Mrs. Polensky’s class), 2nd place Angel Huerta (Mrs. Polensky’s class) and 3rd place Juan Flores (Ms. Sullivan’s class). The recognition was recorded under the Blue Streak Awards portion of the agenda and followed the meeting's action items.
