The Board approved a lengthy personnel slate that included resignations (Jamie Jamieson and Madeline Ward among others), retirement date revisions for two teachers, the termination of a bus monitor effective May 22, and multiple new hires for the 2025-2026 school year.
Notable approvals include the contract for Lindsay Wayne as Early Years/Pre-Kindergarten principal at a salary of $93,000 per year effective July 1, 2025; Chloe Burrus as School Social Worker with an MA/Step 1 salary of $51,691; and several licensed hires and classified hires with stated salaries and start dates. The Board also approved summer school instructors and an extensive set of paraprofessional trainer/mentor stipends and specialized 1:1 special education paraprofessional stipends ranging in value and occasionally noted as prorated.
Votes on the personnel recommendations were recorded as carried; motions were moved and seconded and roll call votes indicated unanimous approval where recorded. Several leave requests and reassignments were also approved and will be administered by Human Resources.
