Parks committee seeks pavilion pricing, larger maps; Splash Pad open for season

Trustee Fioretto reported that the Parks Advisory Committee asked about the town newsletter schedule, larger maps of current parks and timing for moving the volleyball and skate parks. Mayor Pietrowski said the newsletter has not run recently but typically appears online, on his social media and in limited printed copies; he anticipated publishing another newsletter in mid-June. Town Engineer Brandy Williams said she would provide larger maps for the committee's review.
Director of Public Works Joel Summerhill said staff availability is constraining the timeline to relocate the volleyball and skate parks; he could not give an exact date but said staff would try to accommodate the request. The committee is also looking at pricing for a pavilion at Legacy Park and plans to have a booth at Summerfest to boost public engagement; one committee seat remains open with some interest expressed.
