During the July 10 meeting the Minerva Central School Board authorized recurring expenditures that allow the district to meet financial obligations between warrants. The board approved a $100 petty cash fund assigned to District Clerk Lynn Green and authorized payment of listed bills off warrant (insurance, unemployment, postage, conference fees, field trips, utilities, payroll, international student housing coordination fees, cafeteria refunds and legal ads). The motions were recorded as carried 3-0.
The board also authorized the superintendent to apply for relevant state and federal grants as appropriate and approved budget transfers up to $5,000, providing operational flexibility for the coming year.
